Orders

How can I track my order?

If you select a shipping option that includes tracking, you'll receive a Canada Post tracking number.

You can track it on the Canada Post website or app, or download the Shop app from Shopify.

What are your processing times?

Since Mousetracks is now bead-on-demand, my turnaround times may change depending on the numbers of orders I have. The top of the home page will tell you my current processing time, or you can email info@mousebeads.com if you're planning to place a larger order.

For most orders (1 or 2 items) a safe estimate is around 3 weeks: 2 for crafting and 1 for mailing.

Can I cancel my order?

Yes - please email info@mousebeads.com with your order number. If I haven't mailed it yet, I'm happy to cancel it for you.

If your item has already been mailed, my Return Policy applies.

Do you give refunds?

I will gladly give you a refund, minus shipping costs, once an item is returned to me and I've verified that it's in good condition.

Do you sell wholesale?

At this time I am not able to do any wholesale orders or pricing.

Do you do custom work?

Right now I'm not accepting any custom orders. However, some of my designs are customizable - check out the Metis Petals collection and select style, colour, and metal options!

Shipping

Where do you ship to?

I'm happy to ship within Canada, to the U.S., and internationally.

What shipping methods are available?

I currently ship only with Canada Post. You can choose between several options when you check out.

How much does shipping cost?

Shipping costs vary based on your location, and will be shown during checkout.

I make no profit on shipping costs, and strive to make the options as cost-effective for you as possible.

How long does shipping take?

Estimated shipping times are shown during the checkout process, before you pay.

Can I pick up an order if I'm local?

Yes! I love meeting my customers if I can. Just add a note when you check out and I'll contact you. I will refund your shipping after you pick up your order.

Care & Content

How can I take care of my items?

To keep your beadwork looking its best, try the following:

  • avoid wearing lotions, oils, or scents next to your beadwork
  • store jewelry with bead fringe laying down; over time, the thread on fringe pieces can stretch slightly
  • store your pieces in a clean, dry place, away from direct sunlight
  • do not wear beaded jewelry while showering or swimming
  • remove dust with a soft cloth or a clean toothbrush

What materials do you use?

I use glass and metal seed beads, nylon thread, and stainless steel findings. I do not use nickel as it can cause allergies.

I back my jewelry and accessories with tanned hide, usually deer.

I signed up for Mousemail but didn't get anything!

When you enter your email to sign up, I send a confirmation email to make sure (and to help avoid spam).

This email might have gone into your junk or spam folder - check there for an email from Mousetracks Beadwork with a link to click to confirm your signup.

Do I need an account to shop?

No, you can always check out as a guest.

If you choose to make an account, you can set up shipping and payment options so you don't have to enter the information each time you shop.
